Prior to establishing Taiao Huru Huri, I had a successful public service career in central and local government agencies alongside a wide range of whānau, hapū, iwi and agency partners - specialising in community project management, employment creation and education programme design. Most notably I spent almost 8 years in senior regional leadership positions and specialist project management roles with New Zealand's Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai before departing in late 2020 to establish Taiao Huru Huri.
Nō mua i te orokohanga mai o Taiao Huru Huri, I whai wāhi atu ahau ki ngā taumata kawanatanga a rohe, waihoki, hei hoa hāere mo ngā whānau, mo ngā hapu me te huhua o ngā iwi huri noa.
